Celebrating Grandparents & Special Friends at TVS
Over the past two days, we had the joy of welcoming our wonderful grandparents and special friends to campus for one of our most beloved TVS traditions—Grandparents & Special Friends Day! This cherished event is a beautiful way to honor the important role these loved ones play in our students' lives while giving them a glimpse into their daily experiences at school.
On Thursday, our ECE and Lower School students proudly hosted their grandparents for a fun-filled afternoon. Guests enjoyed lunch with their students, an exciting science show by Mr. Glen, a stroll through the stunning art show, a special performance by a guest harpist, interactive trivia games, and a heartwarming student performance.
Friday, it was our Middle and Upper School students’ turn to share this special tradition. Grandparents and special friends joined their students for a delightful breakfast, another thrilling science demonstration by Mr. Glen, and the chance to admire student artwork. They also enjoyed a captivating harp performance before watching our students shine on stage.
These past two days have been incredibly meaningful for our students, faculty, and staff. Seeing the joy on our students’ faces as they shared their school life with their loved ones was truly heartwarming. Thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who make our Village so special!
