Platinum Status Earned Second Consecutive Year

The Village School of Naples, an independent school serving students in PK3 through grade 12, today announced that it has earned Platinum level status for a second consecutive year in College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll. The school also announced that for the first time it has received the AP Access Award for providing all students the opportunity to participate in AP, including students of underrepresented populations.

“It is a great honor for our staff and students to have once again earned Platinum recognition on the AP School Honor Roll, plus the AP Access Award. These two designations place The Village School among the top 6 percent of private and public high schools nationally.” said Dennis Chapman, EdD, Head of School.

Platinum level status reflects the school’s efforts to optimize students’ college readiness with advanced college-level coursework, assistance with college affordability and college culture.
