Performing Arts

In the early years, KinderMusik curriculum is introduced to our students.  In this program, they explore rhythm, melody, and movement through singing and playing instruments. Our program nurtures a love of music while developing essential listening and coordination skills.  ECE students perform on stage several times throughout the year, and We LOVE making music!

The Lower School Music curriculum introduces students to the different music styles and develops their creativity through songs and the exploration of a range of instruments.  They are given hands -on experience playing the Ukulele, African Drums, Bucket Drums, Orff instruments and the Recorder.  Lower School students build confidence through practice and performing together! Their skills are showcased through multiple performances, including the Veterans Day Ceremony, Christmas Concert, Grandparents Day, and a Lower School Spring Concert. We love to see them shine!!

As students progress, they have the option to join Choir as an Elective.  This class contains a specialized group of singers.  They engage in a more vocally structured musical learning, including vocal training, technique and an introduction to music theory. These classes provide building blocks on combining their individual talents in a collaborative setting, while learning different genres of musical styles.  This group performs numerous times throughout the year including: Veterans Day Ceremony, Christmas Concert and Grandparents Day.

As high school students advance in their vocal development, they can join Show Choir. This class is composed of a select group of singers who engage in advanced vocal training, refined techniques, and a deeper exploration of music theory. The curriculum emphasizes both individual vocal excellence and ensemble cohesion, preparing students to perform musical arrangements across a wide range of genres. The group showcases their skills through multiple performances throughout the year, including the Veterans Day Ceremony, Christmas Concert, and Grandparents Day, among other events.
